  • Overnight: Tulia Boutique Hotel or similar
  • Meals: Dinner included

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. Known as the ‘river of warthogs,’ this river is the sole water source for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In some areas, the park's vegetation is dense, with towering elephant grass and acacia woodlands. Tarangire is renowned for its elephant herds, often seen gathering by the river. It’s the ideal place to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat, from playful calves to impressive bulls. You may also encounter giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, often trailed by predators such as lions and leopards. The park also boasts the highest number of breeding bird species found anywhere on Earth. After lunch and an extensive game drive, you'll head to your accommodation near Tarangire, arriving late in the afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

  • Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge or similar
  • Meals: All meals included

After breakfast, you will journey to the far south of Serengeti National Park, also known as the Ndutu region. Lake Ndutu, situated within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Although alkaline like most Rift Valley lakes, Lake Ndutu's water remains drinkable and sustains a diverse range of wildlife. From December to April, the majority of the wildebeest migration can typically be found grazing on the short-grass plains here. This area is also home to a large population of elephants, birds, and other resident game. The Ndutu region forms the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and extends into the unfenced southern reaches of Serengeti National Park, creating a seamless transition between these two iconic wilderness areas. After lunch and extensive game drives, you'll spend two nights in this remarkable location, fully immersed in the splendor of the migration.

  • Overnight: Ndutu Heritage Camp or similar
  • Meals: All meals included

In the early morning, after breakfast, you'll drive straight to the heart of Serengeti National Park for a full day of game viewing. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the world's most famous wildlife sanctuary, celebrated for its unparalleled natural beauty and immense scientific significance. It hosts the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The park is perhaps most renowned for the Great Migration, where over a million wildebeest and around 200,000 zebras migrate south from the northern hills to the southern plains during the short rains in October and November, and then move west and north following the long rains in April, May, and June. This ancient migratory instinct is so powerful that neither drought, gorges, nor crocodile-infested rivers can deter them. The Serengeti is the ultimate destination for those seeking to witness the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration, making it a quintessential African safari experience.

  • Overnight: Into Wild Africa Tented Lodge or similar
  • Meals: All meals included

After an early breakfast, you'll depart the Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro Crater for a game-viewing drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic sites, is often described as the eighth Wonder of the World and boasts the highest density of wildlife on the continent. This world-renowned destination attracts a growing number of visitors each year, and while you may encounter other vehicles, the wildlife viewing in this breathtaking environment is unrivaled. There is truly no other place in Africa like Ngorongoro! The Crater is one of the best locations in the country to spot the endangered black rhinoceros. It is also home to the entire Big Five, with lions and Cape buffalo particularly abundant year-round. A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic site. Afterward, you'll drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
